Welcome to Namiko
Namiko is a psychological survival horror game I’ve been building alone, slowly, over time.
This website is where I’ll be posting development updates, small insights, bts and occasional thoughts on how the project is evolving. It’s not meant to be a polished marketing page, it’s more like a living log of the game as it comes together.
If you’re here early, you’re basically watching it take shape in real time. so thank you very much :)
What is Namiko?
Namiko is a narrative driven survival horror game set in a quiet, remote village.
At first glance, nothing seems wrong.
The environment is calm. The people are normal. The world feels stable. But over time, small things begin to shift in ways that are hard to explain. Not through loud events or constant danger but through subtle changes in how everything behaves.
Namiko is about that feeling when reality starts to feel slightly out of place, even though nothing clearly tells you why.
The Direction of the Game
This project is heavily focused on atmosphere, sound, and perception.
Rather than relying on constant enemies or traditional horror pacing, Namiko is built around slower tension, moments where the world itself feels uncertain.
The goal isn’t to overwhelm the player.
It’s to make them question what feels normal.
Everything in the game is being designed around that idea.
A world that feels like it’s slowly becoming less predictable
It’s not just about shock.
It’s about discomfort that builds quietly over time.
What to Expect From This Site
This website will be updated as development continues.
You can expect:
Devlog posts and progress updates
Early screenshots and clips from the game
Notes on systems, animation, and design decisions
Occasional story or lore hints
Updates about the upcoming short series connected to Namiko
Some posts will be technical. Some will be more reflective. Some will just be small updates on what’s changing.
Nothing here is meant to be overly formal it’s just a place to document the process.
Final Note
Namiko is still early in development.
A lot of systems are being built, changed, and refined as I go. Nothing is locked in permanently yet and that’s intentional.
This site exists to document that process honestly, as it happens.
If you’re here already, thanks for taking an interest in the project.
There’s more coming soon.
